LUMINA

Lumina is a 100% affordable permanent supportive housing development located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, designed to address the critical need for deeply affordable housing near transit. The project proposes the demolition of existing autobody structures to make way for a new 5-story residential building consisting of 55 units and approximately 26,941 square feet of floor area. The development includes 14 supportive housing units restricted to Very Low Income individuals, 40 units reserved for Low Income households, and one on-site manager’s unit.

Our team facilitated entitlements to allow for the streamlined approval of this 78-foot-tall, transit-oriented affordable housing community. The project exemplifies the City’s goals of expanding equitable access to housing while making effective use of infill sites in well-connected neighborhoods.
